Biolan Group and Auris Energia start a collaboration, under which Biolan will supply raw materials For the biogas plant to be built in Säkylä.
Auris, in turn, supplies the final product processed at the facility for use by Biolan.

230,000 tons of agricultural and industrial side streams
Auris has so far signed binding feed-in agreements for its Säkylä plant for approximately 80 gigawatt hours. The biogas plant is aiming for a production capacity of 130 gigawatt hours.
The plant uses approximately 230,000 tonnes of side streams from the surrounding agricultural and industrial areas as raw materials. One of the suppliers is Apetit Ruoka Oy's Säkylä factory.
Auris' Säkylä plant is also expected to produce biogenic carbon dioxide, just under 20,000 tons annually.
In addition, the plant produces recycled fertilizers that return nutrients to the area's fields.
Auris Energia will make the final investment decision on the construction of the Säkylä plant this year. Production is planned to start in 2028.
